The Power of Microbes

Residential Aerobic Treatment Systems by Tipton Environmental.

The Tipton Environmental Residential domestic wastewater treatment system has been developed for the biodegradation of domestic wastewater utilizing aerobic microbes and other methods processes to oxidize the BOD5 in wastewater. This process in combination with specialized system structure will allow the bacterial microbe species to live which results in the reduction of the BOD5 in the influent being reduced to meeting many of your effluent requirements. This process is ideal for both resident and commercial uses. The Tipton system is simple to operate and relies on gravity separation. Let's explore the power of these specialized microbes with our system further.

Residential Wastewater
Treatment Systems

General: The Tipton residential wastewater treatment system is a factory built biological process system developed for the treatment of contamination of waters being discharged from your homes sewer system. These contaminates are commonly referred to as domestic wastewater. The engineered Biomass Concentrator Reactor has a unique process design and is manufactured so that it can be shipped to the project site and easily installed for treatment.

Dependable- The unit is designed for onsite disposal of domestic wastewater.

Easy To Use- Low both operational cost and initial installation cost.

Reliable- The maintenance requirement is low and suitable for small lots.

Versatile- Can be used in conjunction with a variety of disposal methods such as direct surface discharge, spray irrigation, leaching chambers, mound systems, low pressure pipe systems, drip emitter systems, and conventional drain fields.

We Clean Dirty Water!

HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS- The systems purifies the waste-stream by the destruction and oxidation of the organic compounds using oxygen to mix and oxidize the volatile material into gas, water and sludge. By the control of the oxygen input within the aerated oxygen reactor chamber, these concentrated solids will allow an environment ideal for biological organisms to produce and multiply and grow in many different colonies. These colonies will attach themselves to the volatile materials, which is their food base, breaking it down into water, carbon dioxide and ash. The result is a clear and odor-free effluent, with the volatile materials removed. This system is recreating the same process that happens in streams and rivers in a confined area. When waste (food base or microbes) enters a stream, the dissolved oxygen in the water decreases by the consumption of the air by the microbes. As the wastewater moves down stream, the bacteria will consume all organic material in time, as long as there is sufficient air. Basically, we are doing the same thing as Mother Nature does. We provide sufficient air for the microbes to live with an ideal volume of food base. This provides an environment for bacterial growth to produce and consume organic materials. The only difference is that we do it faster than Mother Nature.
