Tipton Steel Base Package Air Systems
The TIPTON line of steel base packaged air systems are self-contained and pre-engineered to include all components to meet your application requirements. Our packages consist of the blower, motor, interior piping and valving, and optional belt guard, inlet and discharge mufflers, and fiberglass hood for outside installations. For determining the blower performance, and/or diffuser condition, a pressure relief valve and pressure gauge are provided. To help reduce the vibration and the noise being created by the air discharge, vibration pad dampeners are provided. Our TIPTON fiberglass hoods provide excellent protection and weather resistance. This includes protection from extreme environments, including hot and cold temperatures, marine environments, wastewater, and industrial applications. The fiberglass reinforced plastic composition of the TIPTON fiberglass hoods is electronically non-conductive, which is an important safety feature. The unique properties of fiberglass reinforced plastic composites offer excellent corrosion resistance. The smooth gel coated exterior surface will not crack, peel, or deteriorate. The molded ivory color has been designed to resist ultraviolet degradation and never needs to be painted. Each packaged blower motor unit is factory adjusted for elevation levels at the project site as specified by our customer.
